Hello everyone, blackie was rescued at 1 month old, scared and skinny, craving for food, his mother got ran over by a car, I took Him in and gave him all the love and care I can, he made friends with the other kittens that I also rescued and he has Always been the chilling cat, he is so adorable and sensitive, would come come every night in Bed and suckle on my nick until he falls asleep which breaks my heart because he didn't the chance to do that with his mother till he grew up, he still misses her. one day I noticed that his tummy is getting bigger and bigger, I thought at the beginning that he is getting chubby, but then he stopped coming to me at night, he wasn't as active and not interested in playing with his friends anymore and his food intake started to decrease, I never in Million years thought it would be FIP, he was getting all the attention he needed, best type of food and treats and was fully vaccinated. on our way to the vet he just chilled in the car till we reached there and it was our turn, the vet immediately knew it was FIP but I was in denial, I asked him to reappear the test and make X-rays, everything came FIP positive 💔 I know how much the treatment costs, I panicked because I have another 50 rescued cats and one that has been recently diagnosed with cancer, I'm already broke and I was terribly terrified I won't be able to buy his treatment. I created an instagram page for him (blackie_fip) and started raising donations but only 90 euros came from there, I had to ask friends to loan me at least enough for his first dosages, with FIP every day counts, a friend Rescuer gave me a vial till his first order of 3 vials can arrive. he has been getting better and better everyday and blackie Responded very well to the medication, but now I need help to be able to continue his treatment, I can't do it alone and I don't want to let him down, he has seen so much so far in his life. please open your hearts for him, help him get to recovery, help him get back to playign with his friends.
